How to avoid DCC at ATMs in Jamaica

DCC check

DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) is the ATM's offer to charge you using a dollar-denominated rate. Choose JMD (the local currency) so your card network or issuer applies the exchange rate instead. This is often cheaper.
